The EAS Program at Musashi University features content courses in English as well as Japanese language study. In addition, the EAS program incorporates out-of-classroom opportunities such as the monthly field trips and study tours to provide students with a variety of perspectives through which to learn about and engage Japanese society, its culture, and traditions.

Simply put, chi to jissen no yuugou is the fusion of knowledge and practice. The EAS program at Musashi is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive educational experience, both inside and outside the classroom. We want Japan itself to be your study ground!
All EAS content courses are conducted in English and consist of twice weekly, 90 minute class periods. The EAS Program offers content courses from among the following fields: Anthropology, Business, Economics, International Relations, History, Language, Literature, Management, Finance, Political, Economy, Politics, Religion, and Sociology. Typically, four or five courses are offered per semester. All participants in the EAS program are required to enroll in a minimum of two EAS courses per semester

The EAS program has the flexibility to address the needs of beginning, intermediate, and advanced learners of Japanese. Beginning and Intermediate Japanese courses meet three times a week for 90 minutes per session. Students who possess a more advanced level of Japanese can mainstream into regular Musashi University classes with the approval of the course professor.
